I took out my front passenger seat, belt and all. When I started, the reel had lots of slack, but now it's gotten shorter and shorter. How do I release the retractor reel to allow the belt to come back out. I didn't have any folded belt issues, the reel looks aligned and everything is retracting fine -- too fine. :)
I had this issue on my VW too and I recall there was a tool for resetting the spool. Anyone else?
