Just wondering if there is anyone here from Vermont that can give us a recommendation on a log-cabin type place to stay at for a few days between Christmas and New Year's this year. We're looking for something thats a standalone, but its only going to be two of us (most of the ones I've found online are for famalies of 6 or more).
Basically, we just want to disappear in the woods at night and tour some scenic country during the day. We did something similar at Table Rock state park in South Carolina, and its the closest thing I could think of to describing what we want to do up there. Here's a link to the state park : http://www.southcarolinaparks.com/park-finder/state-park/350.aspx
So, for starters, which section of Vermont should we be looking at for that type of atmosphere?
