Audi a6 touring v series 5 touring

Hey there from D land,
Thinking about geting a used Audi a6 or a series 5 touring, but I am wondering about bac k seat room. |Anyone have any info on this? Both are fairly reasonalby priced here staying below 2002 and also if anyone has any experience with a european diesel model of BMW I would appreciate it...there are manyu 525tds' available. the gas here is 1.19 euros a liter which is roughly about 6-7 bucks a gallon...

apparently the e 39 530 deisel is the one to get,if you are going to get a deisel,dont know anything about audi diesels but if le mans is anything to go by they know a thing or two about diesels too.
