radio/ CD player questions

I have a 1995 540 with the stock radio (which I just had serviced) tape player in dash and 6 disc changer in trunk. I keep getting "disc error" when I try to play cd's. I have pressed the reset button on the changer and that worked one time. now I can't get my discs to play. any thoughts as to which is my problem changer or radio? and no I don't want to update to newer components as these are good enough for me and I like the stock look.

The cd changer is bad, happens all the time. You're only option is to buy a used bmw cd changer or replace the radio with a cd player.
