What oil can I use to make the gearbox less noisy? It isn't whinning, but still, in first and second gears I can hear it from inside.

Is there any grade of oil which would make the gearbox quiter?

Already, so one option would be an ATF additive for older trannies, not a leak stop, but an oil conditoner type additve may help.

Highly recommended by Jim Blanton.
Expect somewhat stiff shifting in cold weather until the tranny warms up.

Redline is not available at where I live. Plus, temperatures during winter can drop to -40C.

T_marat, you can get it shipped. Where are you? I run MTL and the Beast gots down to -35/-40-ish on some cold-snap days. Tranny has a little bit of the nice harmonic whine when you put power through it in 1st and 2nd, but I don't hear anything once I get light on the pedal.
Cheers,

Have you checked that the rubber seal is in place under the shift gaiter? Mine had been torn and it made a huge difference when I replaced it.
