I have searched thru many threads and cannot find a parts list to repair a leak I have in my intake manifold (1995 525i M50). I found a part list for an M60 repair, it is listed below, but not sure if it would be the same. What I need to know is what parts I need PLUS what else to replace while doing the job?? Any help, tips and advice would be greatly appreciated.:)

This was my parts list, I meant to post it. I recommend autohausaz.com as they carry non-oem versions of the gaskets that are 1/3 the price.

13541747475 - ASC only O ring
11617501562 - PCV plate
11611437694 - cap
11611747085 - cap
11611729727 - front manifold gasket
11611729728 - rear manifold gasket
11151736140 - O ring
11611433328 x 4 - cylindar head gaskets
11611736648 x 10 - bushings

Also plan on picking up some hex bolts to replace the crummy torx ones that you will be stripping. This is from memory but I believe I used:

12 6mmx25mm hex
3 6mm x 20mm hex

I also bought the O-rings for the coolant pipes and the valley pan but did not end up getting that far. If you want them you can have them cheap from me.

m50 intake manifold leaks are fairly rare, the most common leak is the vacuum line that goes from the breather nipple on the valve cover to the couple inch long plastic coupler that connects the icv to the intake, and the coupler itself, theres no pcv plate or other ********
11 15 1 726 828 hose
11 15 1 730 507 hose
11 15 1 703 710 valve cover connector
11 61 1 738 629 coupler for idle control valve
all of that **** is cheep and usually falling off of most m50s i see

we sprayed carb cleaner on the intake area and it appeared to be sucking it in around the intake and cylinder 5. I was told to replace the intake gasket as well as that elbow tube and any other line that needed to be. I guess it would be wise to do what you suggest first and then see if that fixes things.
Thanks for the tip!!

in the #5 area may be the vacuum port or hose for the fuel pressure regulator, it's on the bottom of the plenum and goes to the back of the fuel rail, i don't think all of the **** i listed together would come to $30 at the dealer and just about every m50 needes atleast some of it

the prob has been a surging idle when engine is cold that smooths out when it warms up. tonight is a bit colder and when i started up it was cold and surging as usual but ran more sluggish than normal- the check engine light came on and it backfired a few times. Once it warmed up it began to run smooth again. should i assume it is all dealing with this same compression issue? I plan to replace the O2 sensor as well.
