Instrument cluster lighting

Just a quick question.

How is the color of the instrument cluster made? Is it a plastic plate that is red or does it use bulb condoms?

the plastic plate is red, but the red condom on my volt gauge ain't far off

If you want to remove the paint from the plastic, use cleaning alcohol or something like that. Some people have damaged the plastic when cleaning with scratches. Be careful.
I assume you want to change the bulb light/ilumination colour.
