Long time ago I had a problem with engine stalling whenever I switch to neutral gear. Tachometer would just go straight to 0. But if I let go the throttle slowly, lowering the rev to approximately 1200rpm, then idle would stay fine. This problem would only occur when the engine was hot. I solved this problem by replacing the MAF. Old MAF was dead. After that I didn't any idle problems for about 4 months. And now it showed its ugly head again :D
After switching to neutral, idle would go down, very close to stalling. Then swing up to about 900rpm, then down again and up. Oscilate a little before settling down. I changed the ICV to another one, same thing. What could this be? The problem shows itself when the engine gets hot, at operating temp. Until that, no problems whatsover.
