Need some help!!

I found a 533I sitting in a field and decided to fix her up...
The big problem I am having is the ignition cylinder wont turn. After many hours of searching I decided to ask for some help. I have read the threads on all the posts after a search the only problem is mine doesn't have a hole next to were the key goes. Infact there are no holes other then one a little screw goes into. Thanks in advance for the help....

an E28 eh, most of the posts here are specific to E34s, and the ignition cylinder talk might be one of them.

i would try looking at this:

thats the diagram, you will probably need to yank the panels off the steering column to get to it.
