5 speed tranny/ 90 535, 134k miles

Ok, two indy's both diagnosed my 5 speed as needing replacement. So, should I get a used box from a wreck, or have a pro shop rebuild it??
I am concerned about a used unit but it would probably be cheaper. Thoughts??

He did the trans in my car, is about the best in the business out there. Its not cheap, but you know that you have a solid trans in the car.
