-93 e43 touring back door e-lock faliure.

Hi.

Got a faliure on my -93 520IT e-lock at the back door ( trunk for Touring ).Replaced both micro-switches.
The main door can only be opened with the key and the window in the door can be opened with the switch.
Q. do the microswitches get power by the same wire?
Any reported faliure on the engine/solenoid for the door lock.

You may have a broken wire? It's a common problem on the tourings.
There is a PDF there too that shows what each wire is used for.
