on the very back of the intake manifold (on the pcv plate) if you look from the drivers side there is a cap that caps off a nipple on the top left hand side of the pcv plate. its maybe 3/4" diameter. when i replaced my pcv plate it did not include this cap. so i put the cracked one on from the previous plate. could this be causing my idle problem? thanks, i will post a pic later tonight when i get off work.

SOunds like it. Basically any crack or hole in the intake manifold is a vacuum leak and will cause idle problems.

BMA has them. Replace that little vac hose that goes to the fuel pressure regulator too.
