Hi guys.
I have diesel fuel dripping from the rear of the car. Specifically it is from the metal pipe surrounding the tank (think it is the ventilation pipe?) between the tank and the rear bumper. The pipe sits at the back of the fuel tank. A similar tube is at the opposite side.
It's gonna be a bitch to disassemble the thing (removing the tank and/or rear bumper) and replacing the pipe, so I was wondering wether there is an easy fix for this, e.g. replacing a section of the pipe with a hose??
The problem is, that said metal tube has rusted through, allowing fuel to drip onto the road, causing a very unsexy oil stain on the driveway ...
Suggestions welcome!
