i got my 535i about 2 1/2 months ago. i drove it for about 3 weeks then one day i came home and parked it for about 30 minutes, then it overheated. it had blown the upper radiator hose standing still, shut off. then i got another hose, put that on, refilled the radiator, bled, etc. about 3 days later, the same thing happened. wondering whats happening.

There is a blockage somewhere - possibly the waterpump failed. When that happens, pressure builds up and eventually has to go somewhere. It looks for the weakest point - which in your case seems to be that hose.

the neck of the radiator is made of plastic and it breaks. therefore when you reattach the hose you wont get it hooked on right, and bam it will blow off again. that **** happened to me when i was about 150 miles from home and it was 107 degrees out. one of the worst days ever.
overheating has been well covered. water pump, fan clutch, thermostat....

Could also be a head gasket. Check for water in the oil, bubbles in the header tank, buy a test kit. Find out what is causing this ASAP.
