I always new there were other stock rims out there that wernt to fancy and would still look really really sweet on the car!

Always amazing how relatively unpopular rims from one series BMW can look just right on an earlier BMW model. Those look great on your car.

picked up a new set of chrome M paras and wanted to get rid of these.
It's a nice simple upgrade for an old M20 e34 without going over the top.

These were probably the "bottlecaps" of that era.
Oh my gosh... I can't begin to think how they will be to clean! Still... easier than bottlecaps or baskets ;)

Ha! That's my technique! Amazing how crappy those wheels look on E39's and how good they look on E34's. Nice choice!

Hrrmmm...I'm considering doing E39 16" weaves as a stopgap upgrade until I get my Style 19s or Style 5s one day.
I like it!

Indeed! There was another fellow on here who drove a 540 and had indentical wheels and they were quite the lookers. Any problems with the rings, or does it drive like stock?

for a day, I rotated and cross tightened the lugs to center it, but I did notice some light vibration at 50 to 60 mph.
the rings fit on real snug and the the drive is pretty much the same, but with the lower profile tires it handles curves with less float.

Good point. I'll just hold out for Style 19s, which are my favorite BMW wheel.
We have a Delphin 528e that will get my basketweaves when the E34 gets new wheels.

must have bumped the brake shroud when I was wrestling the rims on to the rings.
got a squeak coming from one of the wheels.
Time for the dental mirror and the flashlight.

theres a guy on BF.C in the 5 series section with a wrecked 528i with identical wheels- I was considering buying the car and parting it- if I do I know where to offer the wheels.
Those do look great on the e34! they are the "bottle caps" of e39s they came on base model 528 and 54oi without the sport pack.
