If so, let me know! :) I'll pay someone to stand in line for me! Over here in Philly, everyone has already crowded the stores. But I am hoping that someone in a smaller city/town could do that favor for me! I'll paypal the entire price of the PS3 & $200 extra. :) If anyone could help, that'd be great!

Me & some friends were going to, & still will if conditions are correct....We can only skip so many classes! Sheesh, some people have no lives!
And hell no I don't actually want to play that piece of junk, if I actually get one it's goin' on ebay like it's my job!

Yea, I feel you. Problem here is that most people have already started to line up for them! So no hope in squeezing an extra one out of you then huh ;)

I'm gonna drop by walmart friday morning and try and grab one. They are going for ~1700 so I'm all for making a quick grand if I can.

we have an internet cafe here with an ad in the door for PS3's for $1300, as an alternative to getting one off of ebay.

What is PS3? I think I am ready for another pair of bi-focals. Actually I do progressive to hide my age.

you realize its just a video game right?Well, in all fairness to Sony and their suggested list price, PS3 is also a Blue-Ray DVD player, and the cheapest stand-alone Blue-Ray DVD player I've seen yet is around $900, with no video game capabilities! At least that's how I'm understanding it. I only bought PS-2 for my kids last year and have yet to use the force-feedback steering wheel and GT-4 they bought for me, so what do I know?

That's exactly my point. I have a nice new Samsung 40" LCD, and regular DVD's look like crap. Have been itching for a HD dvd player or Blue-Ray, might as well get the PS3 with all the other pretty cool functions included, for $300 less than the standalone.

Here in South Cal., People have been camping outside Circuitcity since Nov 11. If you're not camping now, you're not going to get one on 11/17.

well, it looks like all the l33t h4xor ******s are paying homeless people to do it for them. you can just hire one for $350 or so (which would, of course, be a bargain if you manged to get one) to hold your place or pick up and hold a lottery/raincheck ticket for you.:(
that, or buying one off the walmart website (if they still have any) and laughing at the jackasses standing outside.
