OK.
Someone posted this e-bay auction for ajuicy piece of red euro e28 a$$ (http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=009&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&viewitem=&item=190050800001&rd=1&rd=1).
I'm sitting here waiting to go out for the night, see a comedian, party etc.... and my wife walks in when I'm drooling over the e28 and asks whats up.
I jokingly say "I've bid on this car in Cali, whadda ya think", expecting a kick in the nads.
I show her the car and she says, to my dismay, "I love it. Can I drive it?".
I say "sometimes" and she says" OK.
I say "whats my $$ limit" (at this point I'm wondering whats wrong with her)..
Then she says "$10,000".
I think "Holy $it".
whats this thing worth, I want to bid!!
Any advice appreciated,
Dave M

OMG.
That is HOT.
As far as pricing goes 'whatever the market will bear', no expert on M535s but.........me i'd pimp that for ~$7500US easy.
IF it's really clean
and drives like a dream.
Anyone here from LA wanna check this out.
Dave.........i'd offer up a 2-4 of Brador(?) for that if i were you at least.

irks me a bit that the seller, while showing the tool kit, covers up the missing wrenches and screwdrivers with some scattered fuse packs.

If I were to get it, finding a safe place for it would be one of my biggest issues. The other would be lack of $$ for a flight ;)
Its a long shot, but we'll see.
Thanks guys.

OK, wifey and I had another chat. Considering the expense involved in flying to LA, driving it back (as well as having no room to store it), I threw a relatively low ball bid in :( .
It hurt to see it go for ~$5600 clams U.S. Well I truely my e34, I could certainly find foom in my automotive heart for this beauty.
Beter luck next time,
Dave M
My E28 is a lot less sexy but a whole bunch cheaper!

The seller has a feedback of 0 and the buyer has a feedback of 5. It seems like every other car I see listed on eBay is relisted anyway, so I'd start checking for the relisting in about a week. You never know.
