What engine is this...

It is an M88 engine with racing kugelfischer induction, not sure if it is NA or not... (ie precursor to the M5 motor) does anyone know?

they were na but i have herd of some of them being turbo'd, not sure what they made in full race trim but it's probably impressive, injected poked and stroked na m30s back in the days of the csl did better then 450hp

they were na but i have herd of some of them being turbo'd, not sure what they made in full race trim but it's probably impressive, injected poked and stroked na m30s back in the days of the csl did better then 450hpYea, it's a pity noone makes a rebuild kit for the M20/M30 that brings it up to such standards- you know- a makeover for your M20/M30 that includes a sexy rocker cover like that for the blingers, some funky go gear options for the freaks and some niceties for the logicians that want to save on fuel.

the parts aren't much really-
Add up a Megasquirt, new cam, timing gear, oil pump, O2 sensor, thermostat, waterpump and gasket kit- its not that bad when you consider that most people are facing these kind of repairs nowadays anyway.

Take all that off the price of a new AFM, add the option of a turbo manifold and headers.. and woohoo!

Oh yea- and that nice Motorsport rocker cover... LOL
