Be careful, if it's on craigslist and it sounds too good to be true, it usually is. The best deals really come from people you know.

most of the scames on craigs list are 99 whatevers going for 3200 and they ask you to use a esscrow service, its at least worth a call id say

the finish/paint looks like COMPLETE ****. I bet if i tried porter polishing it the black paint would flake off. 1.1k car with a needy 3k repaint

the point isnt the car itself, its the oem throwing stars (700) in good shape with brand new tires (400 or more) and a sport interior with rear headrests worth maybe a 1000 depending on condition, then you have a -1000 dollar car to sell, put a drivers seat in make it a ice racer (northern thing) scca car, or even part it out and keep making money. im gunna call him, maybe take a weekend to ny, and drive back in a e34 possibly.

i wonder about those sport seats. cause to swap them in it takes some time. you have to bypass the memory functions and ****, its a tedious process. i wonder what other surprises the car has? ....i'm going to check it out, possibly tomorrow after work..... and yes i will go armed.

called him on the way to work today. he said some guy was coming tomorrow at noon to buy it for $900 cash, but if i came with $1k cash at 10am i could take it. that's kinda dick, so hell with it i'm not gonna screw someone else over

i mean it's a '90 525, that's the M20 motor.... but it's a stick shift....ok.

then for an M20 w/5 speed, it's got sport seats and throwing stars...

...and sport mirrors....

...and I thought the M20s had an AFM (with the gate/flap inside..), not MAF...

...and wood trim, which I "thought" didn't come on the 525 until '93....

...so wonder if he really knows what the car is, or if someone really made a lot of changes....

the first thing i would do if i was the one buying it is to check the vin #. it just dosent seem right that he has all the "Goodies" i mean expensive parts and labor put into this car and a horrible paint job.
