I'm doing a number of maintenence things on the car, the fuel filter being one of them. Orderd some spark plugs but forgot to get a fuel filter. Rather than creating another order from Bav Auto, I am wondering if anyone here knows of a filter from the local autozone type shop that will work in the place of the OEM. If you used one, I'd like to know which part #/brand to look for. If not, I'll order one, but I'd rather just drive down the street for it. Thanks!

Check out bmaparts.com or autohausaz.com in the future. They usually have better prices then BavAuto. Not that it helps you in this instance but had to throw it out there...

Price at the dealer, may be just as cheap. Check an independent BMW repair shop. Also see if there is a local imports parts store in the area.

I just got mine from the local Advance Auto Parts - exact replica of the BMW one I took off.
