Very minor. A little buzz sometimes when RPM backing down, passing through 2K. Most people would just ignore it and the owner of my indy shop says he can't hear it.
When I replaced the rear exhaust while replacing the DS, it went away for a few days. I thought I had it nailed. Then it came back.
Sounds like exhaust hitting a heat shield, making it vibrate, but I can't find it. It only happens after the car is fully up to normal operating temperature. I'm beginning to wonder if it's internal to the cat.
Last night I readjusted the vertical position of the main exhaust hanger while I was under the car for Insp I and hydraulic fluid replacement. I won't have time to drive it again 'til tonight, but I think the ole buzz is still gonna be with me. 1990 325is manual
