I'm installing new ellipsoids (with Euro mod) in the M and have secured all new mounting hardware for the lamps. Usually the threads become corroded after time and adjustments become very difficult. Corrosion on the threads can also crack the nylon mounting nut.
Can anybody suggest a coating that would prevent this problem? I'm thinking white lithium grease (Lubriplate etc.) on the threads would help. Whatever is used it needs to be compatible with the nylon nut.
