235/55/r17 tires on an e34?

I just bought a set of 17" Mille Miglia M11 wheels for my e34 and they came with a set of snow tires sized 235/55/r17 mounted. They seem a bit big for my car and I am getting new tires but before i do, i thought id ask.. Are these tires too big and does anybody run these size tires on thier e34?

I am running 235/45/17. They are perfect for this car in every way. Since you are getting new tires anyway, just get the proper size.

too big, you must get 235 45 for 17" rims. that's e34 m5 dimension.
