howdy -
picked up a 535i the other day. has 167k. plan on pulling the head to change the gasket. while the head is off, i figure that i might as well get some work done.
could the guys with some experience recommend what to do with the head? i thought some porting and polishing, maybe getting the intake manifold ported then powdercoated, switching to lightened/strengthened valvetrain components, maybe even a cam. suggestions?
also, could you guys recommend a good MAF? i know split second has one. does running a chip, a MAF, and a modified head have compatibility issues?
