Water Issues

i've got a 89 520i and the front passenger side footwell was soaking wet, so i decided 2 investigate it and brought up the carpet where i found lots of water swimming about, also the door apiture seal is also soaking wet but only at the bottom of the seal, the rest of the apiture seal is dry, i've also found sum water building up in the pocket part of the door card where i put my newspapers lol and there is abit of dampness on the cloth underneath the sunroof, so thinking that the drain hoses on the sunroof are to blame for this i tried cleaning the drain hoses in the sunroof to see if that is the cause but that ain't worked as its still leaking water in,
