I bought some parts from him before- he's a good seller.
I believe he's the guy who sells the E34 outer door handle seals too.
He seems to be helping the Malaysian BMW dealer network clear out odd/slow moving parts. I wonder who gets these parts from BMW dealers in the US or what they do with them???? :)

Yep, that is the guy who is selling the outer door handle gaskets too.
Good seller, as you say. I buy a lot from him.
Never had trouble.
I think that is a clever way to help out the dealers to clear old / slow moving stock. They for sure have so many parts which they ordered by mistake and have it on stock for a long time.
I know it from our parts department how many wrong ordered parts are on stock for a long time. We write them off and then we offer them to our other subsidiaries at very low prices.
Working capital reduction is a magic word nowadays by the controlling departments.

Erich...I've seen the listing for that trans before (as well as the M30 G260/6 that he had listed for the same amount of money)...and...I have to say...it looks pretty used by my eyes. For the money and the assertions, the thing should be spotless.

$7500 ought to buy more than 700 CCs. Cool item but who needs it for that amount of dough?

You have to take the non vanos from 84mm out to like 86.7 or whatever the S52 bore is. Then you have to fit the S52 rods and crank. You might as well just start out with an S52 block.
