Finishing up my first valve adjustment(go me!) and I have checked the banjo bolts. The old style ones are in there, and I have the new style ones ready to put in, but the old ones are nice and tight....they have been that way for at least 50k mi if not, a lot more. I'm a bit scared to spoild a good thing and am worried about over tightening....should I just leave 'em in or go ahead and replace 'em?

Most likely they will come loose sooner or later.
My car had only done 65000 miles when i found one of mine had backed out two or three turns.
I say install the new bolts, torque to correct spec. I actually reused my old bolts and secured them by drilling and wiring them through their heads so they never come loose.
