These are is the size thats on my wheels. I've looked on tirerack.com and they dont have this size. Does anyone know where to get a set of these tires that wont cose me an arm and a leg? They are michelin trax gt tires, i think. the parts dept. at my shop told me michelin has them for 400 a piece.

its probly cheaper and worthwile to get some modern day tires. search ebay for some bottlecaps and then get some new tires from tirerack. this can all be done for well under $1200

Not stock for an 89 535i per the 1989 34 brochure? I know the e28 had trx tires on the e28? If so, this is a bit rare for a US car.
Is this a Gray Market car or specially imported car?

Those are metric tires. They are very rare in the U.S., not sure in the world.
Just get new wheels that aren't metric and you'll be fine.

I think the previous owner put those wheels on there. I know it would be cheaper in the long run to get modern rims but i cant spend so much money on new rims and wheels right now. I'm looking at E39M5 wheels and M Parralell wheels, any suggestions on wheels that look gteat with the E34?

I'm partial to the AC Schnitzer Type III Racing myself, but that might be because they came with my car...:p
What kind of look are you going for? Young and racy, or a little more 'experienced';) and upscale?

then just go get a usedset of 15's for now and cheap tires. Cost you less than two metric tires! Maybe less than 1.

Is 8" too wide for the front on an E34?
I'm almost decided on E39 M5 wheels...

It's perfect. I may to 8" in front and 10" in back.
What are you gonna do with the old wheels?

The wheels you have on there now look pretty nifty. You could probably put them on your local craigslist for $200+ and get them out the door pretty quick. They would look great on a 635, or E30 M3.

If they're in good shape, I'll probably make them into a glass coffee table. They're cool as hell.
I'd pay a small fee + shipping. :)
