Hey guys,
Is it possible to take the headlights from the E39 and install them on an E34? or is there an aftermarket /custom clear plastic casing I can purchase to put on my E34 that looks and serves the sames purpose?

Sure its possible.....Anything is possible.......But I would buy another e34 front end to replace what you screw up. If you start this project, take alot of pics, and tell us all......GOODLUCK

I think it will look good if its done correctly I was thinking of attempting it I have the e39 lights It will take allot of time to get the fenders to fit correctly and where the kidneys are.

I've seen attempts on it but it was never done right. I am going to make sure thats what I would want but im not sure if they would fit right because the e39 lights are really deap and My turbo will be right behind the light.

Thats not it, thats hyundi's new concept model:D
but for real, please stick with the classy front end of the e34, dont pollute it with that oversized plastic light housing. If you want updated looks, get HID's or something.

I saw it too, way to messed up. cutting the hood, welding and modifying. looked like crap when done. The idea is great but on our cars I would suggest forgetting the ID

Yes it looks awful, bet they're stuck in with chewing gum too...
I have seen a plastic cover for e 34 standard lights, it was on a car on ebay a few months ago, they are basically headlamp protectors but are contoured to fit around the profile of the e34 lights. They dont look good either!

If you want E39 headlights, buy an E39. If you can't appreciate the E34s quad headlights then I don't see why you own one.
