Their price is as good as anyone else's. It's too nice a car for it not be running as it was meant to.

i didn't mean to sound as though i was being derogatory toward bma, i was wondering if that was the dealer's price for that stuff. i couldn't imagine buying 3k worth of stuff from them at once....which car is it for, the touring?

Fortunatly, they are NOT needed on any US E34s except for the 540i MSport

I have an M-sport... what are these things? will I have to buy some one day?
edit: Oh those... I've already had mine replaced once.... gah. not a bad price compared to what the PO payed. Doesn't the '93 M5 have these too?

Just think, people convert the simpler hydraulic SLR because of price! It's nothing in comparison to the EDC system.
Glad you're able to keep it stock, or are you feeling guilty for not spending any time with her??? =)
You planning on doing the work or will that be another chapter?
Good luck Matt, I'm sure you got the best deal possible through BMA...let us know how she rides afterward.

According to the E34 M5 FAQ, we never had the option on the US M5's. It was Europe only on models Feb 92 to Spring 93, standard on all 3.8L M5s

John and Wayne at BMS are doing all the actual work. I couldn't think of better hands to put her.. er.. it.. in... Also, I hope to have the stereo situation resolved in the next couple days. They will be doing the stereo install as well.

Had to replace my two front struts on my 1995 EDCIII equipped Australian edition Motorsport 540i last month.
Cost me A$2313 for the parts and freight to Tasmania (ex-BMA), plus another A$650 in Australian customs duties and taxes and another A$400 to get it all fitted. Expensive little exercise! But even with the taxes and duties, buying from BMA saved me around A$1000. Quote from the BMW dealer in Hobart was for $4000 just for parts!
Still, the car is special :)
