May be its crap but the seller got a lot of positive feedbacks.

Description from the seller: It will modify any standard ECU by telling the ECU that the incoming air in the intake system is cold and so advances the ignition to compensate producing more power.

Another "power" product.

Varipower
"This kit works in just the same way as a chip (such as those sold by Superchips) but does not require opening of the car's delicate Electronic Control Unit (ECU). Instead the kit attaches to the wiring which is easily accessible under the bonnet - which in turn leads back to the ECU. This kit also gives you fully adjustable control of the power your car develops. This way you can have extra power when you need it and standard economy when you don't (or anywhere in between)."

Well bake away......I work for Germans, and they are really cool, and pay very well. They must have some good ovens.

they work... untill the ECU gets the data back from the O2 sensors and changes the fuel mapping to compensate for a faulty air flow meter.

so yes they work... but only for about 30 miles.

My advice......DON'T GET EITHER OF THESE. Use your money on an EAT. It took me almost a year to decide on a chip, and have read alot of threads on all the chip upgrades, and their specs. I went with EAT. Has not let me down yet. IMHO

This thread proves that marketing junk works. Everyone stands to make a buck if just a few buy the hype... the whole basis for "As Seen on TV"

Marketing always work. That's why people paid big bucks for brand name mufflers with little or no performance gain.

don't be silly, to get 15hp it takes more than just 5min chip installment.

That paired with a Tornado(tm) for your air intake will make your car faster, as your wallet will be lighter.
