hood won't close :(

My hood won't stay closed. As soon as I hit 65+, it pops open. It now can be opened without releasing it.

Anyone else had this problem and what can I do to fix this? :(

there is an adjustment for the lockdown on the right hand side of the hood as you face the front of the car, adjust it out a couple turns, shoul allow it to latch completely.

....and clean and lube the latch mechanism, too. Brakekleen works fine, followed with some white lithium or grease of your choice.

Well the mechanism is gone completely. No idea what happened, I just opened the hood and there is nothing there. Guess I gotta hit up a junkyard :\

Anyone have a spare one around?
