Drivers window stuck in the down position!!!

:( How can I fix this? I have taken everything off the door and it looks like the window covers the motor that appears to be at the top of the door. If I have to remove the window, what do I need to know? Is there any way to put the window up manually? Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

does the motor work at all? are there any noises going on when you try to raise the window?

when I push the switch I hear a clicking sound and I seem the hear a clicking sound coming from the door also.

Okay, this rings a bell about the window regulator, I dont think they are seperate items from the motor. Did you look in the classifieds for someone parting a car that can sell you one? Thatd be the easy fix as far as I would guess.

Actually I think I have one already. The previous owner sent me some extra parts. I just need some tips on how to get the window out of my way .
