There is some kind of foam rubber piece connected to the doors (attached to the body, not the door.) that runs all the way around the front and passenger doors... I can't find a part number or where to find it...
Mine fell off lol...
They're pretty universal. You can buy a roll of it and glue new on. I can't however find you a link. I'll be looking for you though.
We replaced those this last summer and we just had a roll of it. I sure if you can find a p/n you'd get precut and that would be nice.

are 4 shown here depending on what color your interior is. Its not just foam rubber, there's fabric attached to it also , which is where the foam rubber pulls away from.

Bill how much does a complete set run someone?? All four doors.
I bought just one for the drivers door last year. It was something like $54 or $57 with tax from the dealer with the CCA discount. BMA should be able to get them at a similar price. I'm going to use the old one to cut & splice the other 3 under the sill so they fill the gaps in the corners again.

Well,
There you go. Those pcs aren't shown in the RealOEM website parts catalog. I guess Ill just have to guess which one is closest to 0292 Silver.

Those are the really thick, molded pieces of RUBBER, the things I'm talking about are on the body, foam rubber and sorta tube shaped. They just line all the way around the doorframe, you see them when you open the door.
Well... Only three on my car. I'm working on it.
I could use a #8 though...

So I'm not the only car where they're lifting in the corners? I never noticed this in my 535i, but the new 540 is pulling back in the corners pretty far... you can even see a gap, it's lifted so much! The back door was cut, I assume so it could stretch, but that just allowed more wind noise, I think. :(
