Door panels: Tan worse than black? Have two '89s, one black and one tan door panels.. Driver door panel on black has been repaired and is pretty darn good. Other black panels good.
Tan driver door panel too far gone to repair. Vinyl has shrunk so much that it has pulled away from the trailing edge by over three inches. No way to stretch it back. Tan vinyl seems to be heavier material than the black.
Tan panels on eBay look suspiciously like mine.
Tempted to replace tan panels with black. Suggestions, tips. I have BillR's repair tips.
