That is the first Toyota motor I have personally seen in a BMW. I always had thoughts of putting a BMW engine in a Toyota car (Supra). My son had always wanted a Supra, and after researching them, I came to find out that the turbo engine had a problem with head gaskets and loose head bolts. So I convinced him we should stay away from them. Now this guy goes and puts one in an E34. There went the resale value. I'm sure that if the original engine had gone south that it would have been just as cost effective to pull another M30 out of the salvage yard. Some people just take being unique to an altogether different level!
