reverse lights

hey guys,

got bit of a problem, i've got a 89 520i and the reverse lights ain't working. i've checked the fuse and the fuse is fine also changed the bulbs and the lights still ain't working any suggestions ?

Replace the reverse light switch on the transmission

quick question i have a 90 525i mt and have the same problem... is the switch hard to get too? like pull trans out? or just pull center console out?
just thought i would ask, part at autozone was like 8 dollars.. i think it would be worth the money so next time when i back up people know! :D

Its on the passenger side of the transmission on most transmissions I've seen. You can access it by jacking the car up.
