Hi guys.
I really dont know much about the e34 stock sound system. I did search around this site, and i only know that the black box in my trunk is the stock amp AND crossover. I bought some subs and amp, from a buddy, and i really have no idea how to plug the amp into the existant stock crossover. OR if its even possible???
Are there any links, or pictures that you pros could offer to help me wire up some subs to my car? :(
Any help is appreciated.

Does the amp have "high level in/out" on it?
If so, just wire your rear 5" speakers through here.
It will not be "great" quality, but its the easiest way to do it, and given your leaving the stock system in im assuming your not looking for leaps and bounds in quality just yet.

is there an amp pre-out in the stock HU?
and
is there anyway to lets say, open the stock crossover in the back and wire the new amp (alpine mrd-m605) from that?

if there's a amp preout in the headunit (have you replaced it or is it stock) then you can run the wire from there.
have you done a sub install before?
