just curious has anyone just crawled under and had enough clearance to loosen the brake bleeders in the rear and turn the wheel to get to the ones in the front? my buddy who usually lets me borrow his driveway wont be around tommorow and he also has a good jack.

for the fronts i can do without lifting it. for the rears they need to be on ramps.

I have done it. Well, i pumped the pedal while my dad watched the fluid level and my brother operated the bleed screws :D

I have not bled without raising but I have bled without pumping the brakes. If anyone is interested, I will try to find the plans to build a brake self-bleeder using a bug sprayer. I used it on the Mercedes. Sweet. Just put the brake fluid in the sprayer, pump it up, and turn the bleed screws until clean fluid comes out. Costs < $20 to make.
