Remote Control E34!!!

This might be old hat for our UK owners but the fabulous Brit car show 'Top Gear' had a segment the other night where these university boffins had hooked up real cars to be used with remote controllers like the modelers use. They had a couple of crap cars but they had also done it to an E34 (No vid attachment-I searched but to no avail). It was really hard to watch them 'driving' it around a quarry before jumping it off a ramp into a caravan!!! I was appalled, my wife was in histerics...:(

It did indeed -- SBS Monday nights at 7.30pm. Even though I have seen this season many times before, I still liked this episode.

Scary stuff! I went to a job where a car had collided with a tree. The engine was about 50 metres from the car. The car stopped dead (so did the driver...) but the engine kept travelling. He was obviously travelling at warp speed.

I second the parts argument, let's send them a group e-mail expressing our remorese at the lost E34 and request a segment on us and our devout E34 following, or our feeling of loss that they crash our favorite car all of the time. :-D

Seriously, if we got the UK, OZ, DE, and US community to Email them I'm sure they would respond somehow! :-D :D
