The Vanos line on my 95 525iT is weeping oil from the crimp fittings at both ends. If this is typical after a few years I may take the line to the local hydraulic shop & have a new high pressure line made using the original end pieces instead of buying another stock hose. Has anyone else had this problem?

Hi
Do you have to remove the intake manifold to replace this hose?
access to one of the ends looks difficult.
Thanks.

no it's not hard to get the other end, it's on the back of the oil filter housing with a banjo fitting just like the one up top

Winfred - Thanks for the replys, I'll order up another factory line/washers. It does look like it will come off pretty easily.
