Next steps is getting either a lip or 540i brake ducts, and having the bottom half of the bumper resprayed, along with my new M5 mirrors. Gotta swap out the fogs for the good ones off my 535i.
A new set of BBS centercaps, and she'll be all set. ;)

They're BBS... some debate over what the actual style name is. They're similar to the Style 5's that BBS made for BMW, but they're one-piece (no rivets), 17"x8.5" all the way around, a wider lip than even the rear Style 5, and I'm pretty sure they're E34 hub fitment (72.5mm).

i got mine on this weekend too,i used a whole bottle of mothers all wheel cleaner up to six or even seven applictions(to the INSIDE) they were blacker than black. They have the correct hub dia for the E34 cos my tyre place couldnt get them on at first cos one metal ring had stuck on one of the hubs.I am sticking with the BMW centres, they almost look too much....They sit slightly further out too....
They look great especially considering the amount of damage they had. Who did 'em? What was the cost?

Found a great place here in San Diego. They did my girlfriend's wheels too...

He gave me a deal because Kim's had work done there before, and we've referred him a few new customers, she mentioned him in her article in Bimmer, etc...
I think something like that would normally be probably $125-150/wheel, just because of all the damage. All 4 had to be straightened, etc.

:) It's my first wheel with a real lip on it... and I'm loving it. It's even deeper than the rear staggered Style 5's, and I always thought those things had a huge lip.
It's deeper than my dad's rear M-parallel (staggered) on his E38 750iL... Only thing I can think of offhand would be those 9.5" or whatever rear Rondell Style 58's, those lips look HUGE.

my bud with this franken c just got back from hot laps at texas world speedway where he made short order of all things miata and M3's. The only thing passing him were the track ready 911's on the straight away because his limiter prevented him from reaching 140. he's so funny, he drove the car up from austin, burned up 2 hours of hot laps and then drove the car home.

Yeah, gotta be extra careful with these things. :)
Running 235/45-17 on 17x8.5" on all 4 corners.

ummm ... I'm trying to fit more width on the front, 235 looks alittle ugly when u have 275 on the rear :P thats for the E31 not E34

Gotcha. I have a supercharged 3-series on coilovers and r-compound tires if I want to handle. :) The 540i/6 is just for driving, so I didn't want to go overboard with the tires... Cost didn't justify the reward.
Have 245's on the 535i, but that's because they're 18"s.

I can see what you mean in your sig pic tho! Those fronts look like normal tires, compared to that massive rear that seems to disappear under the car...

right, then u fit the 245 on the front and it didn't rub with anything on tight turns? every time I ask for 245 they say it doesn't fit! but I guess for the 850 it should fit on the 17" rims too.

Yeah, I run 245/40-18's, on 18x7.5" wheels (not sure of the offset). I rub on the inside of the wheel at full lock in a parking lot, but it's because of my RD swaybars, my 15" wheels do the same thing.
