anyone from southern England area???

Hey all,
I am heading over the pond to England in June for about 6 months and I was just wondering if there were any members of the board from around that area. I think the closest town to where I will be staying is Gosport. Some pub recommendations would be welcomed also. :D

be like 10 metres from the shore! Nova Scotia, Gosport ... hey, are you crossing the pond in your boat! By the way, I'm up in Birmingham, which is about 3 hours drive at UK motorway speeds straight up north from there. Unfortunately I can't help you with regard to good local pubs down there but I like your priorities in researching around the island culture! :)
