530 auto to manual tranny swap...

Anyone do an auto to manual tranny swap on a 530i?

I found a 94 530ia with a trans program, and I was thinking about converting it to a 5-speed manual. Does anyone have a punch list for what parts are needed (other then the tranny itself)?

There's a 530i 5-spd trans on ebay by Tom's Foreign, which is where I bought most of my donor parts:

A detailed itemized list is difficult to come by but the following summary will give you a general idea of what you'll need:

most of the info is the same/similar for an e34. Differences are subtle such as shift linkage, driveshaft, etc. There's a good chance Tom's Foreign will have many of those pieces from the same 530i as well.
