Got a sound coming out of my rear...

end when car is at idle. Sounds like a hiss or vacume wease or even water steaming. Doesnt appear to be coming from exhaust. 89 535i. Could it be the fuel pump?

sounds like an excessive build-up of methane gas. Thats what causes the noise out of my rear end at least....


seriously though, if it sounds like the noise in my head, odds are that fuel pump would be a good choice.
