It would have to be an E32? It was the "other turbo" that came from the factory (the 2002 turbo was the first). I believe it has a 3.5 in it with a little pump attached and going by the calculations it came to be a 745.
I saw a write up on this compared to the newer 745 in BMW Car mag a couple of years ago.
Suppose I should have taken more notice of what I was reading.

E23, passed on an opportunity to buy one years ago because I didn't know what it was. Kicking myself since.

How much is he asking for it? I thought they where never released in Australia. Its an e23. like seen here, they came out around 1984.

If it would be a 745iA Highline, then maybe the price is o.k., because only 329 have been built.
One of the best ones is owned by my freind Marco in Germany, which I meet last week while in Germany.

I wonder sometimes as to if the only reason you moved to Japan were the highlines! Way to act on a dream and fulfill it, jeez. lol

Anyways, I'm angry there aren't even any E32 highlines here... :-/

Richard at The Oldtimer Centre had an E23 745i for sale about a year ago. It was a south African import with the M5 motor in it. Looked interesting with the leather dash etc etc
