View Full Version : Sunroof not closing remotely

On my previous two E34s when keeping the remote central locking button on the key depressed the windows and sunroof would close. On the current car the windows close but the sunroof only clicks slightly. Otherwise the sunroof operates 100%.

Someone mentioned an excessive power drop in the cables... this doesn't quite make sense to me. Any ideas?

Try cleaning & lubeing up the track

Surely, if the track needed lubrication this would affect the normal sunroof switch operation as well, not just the remote functioning?
