Hi. My batt died in the car back home. I'm overseas, can't download the .pdf bentley as my network blocked the site (site found via search function on the board here...).

I'm good w/letting the car sit several more months, but like her to have options if she wakes up one morning and the 4Runner has a flat, or whatever....

What are the specs for the 1993 525ia M50tu car battery?

My wife or the neighbor will swap it out, but I want her fore armed w/the right specs so if the guy at Sears or wherever gives her something else she'll know. I don't reacall being able to read the specs from the current battery anyway.

Thanks much.

WHAT DO I LOOK FOR IN BUYING A NEW BATTERY

If the car is often parked outside for a long time, I would suggest you buy a solar battery charger to keep the battery alive over long periods, easy to install, just plug it into the cigarette lighter and put the solar cell on the dash or fix it at a window in the car where most of the time the sun shines.
Here are some

In case you park the car in your garage, use one for example from Harborfreight as float charger
