Hi all,
I have acquired a decent wiper unit to replace my worn out one.
The pivot post on the original unit where the passenger side blade bolts to (RHD) is worn to nearly half an inch play:( and the arm is slowly attempting to saw its way through the bonnet. . . .not good.
Any Ideas how the unit comes out as its rather tight on space, do i have to remove the plastic ducting below it ( which i guess is for the cabin air vents) If so how, as i can't see any attachment points.
Or can it come the other way by removing the large electrical enclosure and twisting it out past the RHS front strut.
I have seached the forum but can't find anything on the correct method so any help would be much appriecaited.
I have the plastic covers off, arms off, pivot securing nuts and assembly bracket undone, unit unplugged and the plastic bulkead piece behind the engine undone and pulled forwards for access but now i'm stuck for how to get the b&%$£*d thing out.
And its started raining....dontcha just love the U.K. :)
