Z3 service lights

Hi, I've just bought a Z3 2.8, its a September 1999 build with a June 1999 build engine registered March 2000
it was serviced by the garage as it was due for a oil service but they didnt reset the lights, I have a reset tool for my wifes 1994 320 coupe
but it dosn't work,
does antbody know the method to reset the lights

Hi,
thanks for that,what i have also found is,
that it appears not to work if you try to reset at oil service if it wants an inspection
which is probably the other guys problem
